How listings are made
Last updated November 3, 2026
DockPact aims to list every marina so boaters can compare them in one place. This is how a listing is built and how a marina can take it over or have it removed.
Listings we build
Before a marina joins, we build its listing from public sources: the marina's own website, public maps, government and harbor records, and photos we have the right to use. These listings are marked "Information not yet verified by the marina". They show no availability and cannot take requests. Prices on them are estimates, labeled as such, with the date we found them.
Claimed listings
A marina can claim its listing for free. We confirm the claim by texting a code to the marina's listed phone and checking a business document. Once confirmed, the marina controls the listing and everything it shows. Availability and prices on a claimed listing come from the marina's own records.
Corrections and removal
If a listing is wrong, the marina can claim it and fix it, or anyone can tell us through the chat. A marina that does not want to be listed can ask for removal on the removal page; we answer within five business days.
Reviews
Reviews marked "verified stay" come from boaters who booked and stayed through DockPact.
