These terms cover your use of DockPact, a website and app for finding boat slips, moorings and storage and for running a marina. By using DockPact you agree to them.

What we do

DockPact lists marinas and passes slip requests, messages and payments between boaters and marinas. The marina, not DockPact, provides the slip and decides whether to accept a request. Your lease or stay agreement is between you and the marina.

Listings and prices

Marinas that manage their listing keep their slips, prices and availability up to date. Listings marked "Information not yet verified by the marina" were built from public sources and may be wrong; prices on them are estimates. Always confirm details with the marina.

Requests, holds and payments

When you request a slip, it is held for you for the time the marina sets while they decide. You pay only after the marina accepts and you sign. Card payments are processed by Stripe on the marina's own account. A booking fee may be included in the first payment, as shown at checkout. Refunds follow the cancellation policy the marina showed when you booked.

Autopay

For monthly or longer stays, the card you pay with is saved and charged on each due date for the amount the marina bills. You can change the card at any time from the link in your bill or by asking the marina, and stop autopay by contacting the marina.

Your account

Keep your sign-in details private. You are responsible for what happens under your account. We may suspend accounts used for fraud, spam or abuse.

Marinas

A person who claims a marina confirms they are authorized to act for it. Marinas are responsible for the accuracy of what they publish and for honoring accepted requests and their stated policies.

Limits of our responsibility

DockPact is provided as is. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for the condition of any marina or slip, for disputes between boaters and marinas, or for indirect losses.
